CONTEMPORARY DESIGN FOR A
1950’S TERRACED HOME
This property was dated, run down and unloved. After a full blown renovation including a 5ft opening between the diner and lounge this home is now light, bright and functional. By opening the wall between the lounge and diner we were able to create an open floor plan which helps to give the illusion of a larger, usable, living space.
The entire downstairs was plastered, painted and adorned with all new lighting fixtures. The flooring throughout was updated which helps to bring a more seamless flow throughout the property. By updating the galley kitchen with new cupboards, wooden worktops and white subway tiles, the room feels instantly lifted and fresh.
Through the styling of the home we have managed to bring together a comfortable yet airy sophistication to the overall space. BailyJoy was responsible for the entire design concept and sourcing.
